Secondary School Workshops

Our ‘Earn-ya-bike’ project continues to evolve, and this year, we kicked off our Secondary School Bike Repair Workshops in partnership with Lambeth Council. The project is aimed at providing refurbished bikes and bike maintenance skills to 11-16 year olds in Lambeth.

So far we’ve worked with 3 cohorts at Dunraven Secondary School in Streatham and 1 cohort at Oasis Academy in South Bank. Each group attends two sessions at the School, where they learn how to fix a puncture and replace & adjust brake pads. After the second session they get to keep the bike they’ve been working on, along with a helmet, lock and set of lights! We’re looking forward to finishing off the year strong with Trinity Academy and our continued partnership with Lambeth.
